Facts and numbers about “Selteka” JSC

2013

“Selteka” was awarded the Confederation of Lithuanian Industrialists nomination “SUCCESSFULLY OPERATING COMPANY” and in cooperation with Kaunas University of Technology successfully completed 2 projects in the field of digital technology.

2012

In 2012, “Selteka” JSC has successfully completed 3  EU-funded projects.

2011

“Selteka” JSC successfully introduced its newest products “CIC-402HD” and “IF-402HD” in the exhibition “CSTB 2011” in Moscow on 1-3 February 2011.

2007 – 2011

“Selteka”  JSC successfully completed 6 projects.

2008

The digital set-top box “TF-401” was awarded a prize for innovations in the national competition category “Inovatyvus gaminys” (“Innovative product”).

2007

“Selteka” JSC was acknowledged as one of the best in the country and was awarded the prize of the national competition “Inovacijų prizas” – “Inovatyvi įmonė ‘07”.

2006
The business of production and assembly of electronics products services was started in Russia, Kaliningrad Oblast.
The project of “Selteka” JSC in the field of digital television won subsidies from the EU structural funds.

2005
“Selteka” JSC became the largest manufacturer of TV channel selectors in Europe. 3.2 million units were produced.

2004
Two projects for development of digital television products won competitions for obtaining financing under the PHARE general financing programme of the Ministry of the Economy of the Republic of Lithuania and the EU.

2002
A network of distribution of TV service products was created in Europe and the CIS countries.
Development of the business of assembly of electronics products services was started.

1999
“Selteka” JSC was the first one among the electronics companies in independent Lithuania to implement the quality management system in accordance with the LST ISO 9001 standard.

1997
The company was reorganized, the status and name thereof was changed into “SELTEKA” JSC.

1990
It was the first company in Soviet times that started serial production using surface mount devices (SMD) and technology (SMT). 7.5 million TV channel selectors were produced which amounted to 53% of the market demand of the Soviet Union.

1987
It was the first company in the Soviet Union to implement the surface mount technology (SMT).

1956
The national Kaunas radio plant was established. Production of TV channel selectors was started.
