Warranty terms and conditions

UAB “Selteka” gives a 3-year guarantee to its products.

Terms of warranty obligations and service free of charge

  • Warranty card is valid only if the model of the product, serial number and date of sale are specified in it correctly, it bears clear seals of the selling company and the buyer’s signature and the purchase document is enclosed.

  • The manufacturer provides a three-year warranty service for “DVB-T MPEG4” digital set-top boxes from the day of sale, if the terms of use of the product were not violated.

  • The buyer must deliver the defective set-top box to the manufacturer’s representative for warranty service UAB “SELTEKA”, Draugystės St. 19, LT-51230 Kaunas, or to the shop that sold the set-top box.

  • The product must be delivered for warranty repair in full set including connection cables, documentation and package.

The manufacturer does not carry out service of the product free of charge in the following cases:

  • If the rules and terms of use of the product established in the user’s manual were violated;
  • If there are indications evidencing attempts to perform unqualified repairs;
  • If the defect appeared because of the impact of natural forces, accidents, conscious or careless actions of the user;
  • In case of damage caused by external objects, substances or liquids that got inside the product;
  • In case of mechanical damage that occurred after sale of the goods;
  • In case of damage or abnormal operation of the product that occurred because of discrepancy of power supply parameters.

The warranty does not apply to:

  • Remote control;
  • Batteries;
  • Connection cables, aerials and connections thereof.

When the set-top box is received and it is determined that warranty repair must be provided, UAB “Selteka” undertakes to repair the product within 10 business days from delivery of the product to UAB “Selteka”.
